چکیده
OBJECTIVE: To compare the efficacy of Kinesio Taping (KT) in addition to conventional Physical therapy (CPT) with CPT alone for treatment patients acute low back pain. METHODS: This study was conducted Peshawar, Pakistan from Jan June 2019. A total 56 LBP, selected through a convenient sampling technique were randomly allocated experimental group, KT along PT (n=28), or control (n=28). Participant allocation concealed using sequentially numbered, opaque, sealed envelopes. Both groups received two weeks. Oswestry disability index (ODI) and numeric pain rating scale (NPRS) used measurement outcomes. RESULTS: Out participants, 34 (60.7 %) male 22 (39.3%) females. The majority (n=40; 71.4%) aged between 30 50 years mean age 44.36±8.73 years. Pre- & Post-treatment score on NPRS 8.32±.612 4.50±1.599 8.21±.630 5.29±1.213 group respectively (p<0.001). ODI 31.54±3.339 20.86±2.649 30.68±2.653 22.64±2.542 Disability percentage (ODI score* 100/50) 62.50±6.221 41.54±6.741 61.36±5.307 45.29±5.083 CONCLUSION: Current suggests therapeutic reduction intensity functional LBP as compared management LBP.

Comparing lumbosacral orthosis to routine physical therapy on postural stability in patients with chronic low back pain: A randomized trial
Background: Poor balance performance and impaired postural control have been frequently reported in patients with low back pain. However, postural control is rarely monitored during the course of treatment even though poor postural control may contribute to chronicity and recurrence of symptoms. Therefore, the present study aimed at investigating the effect of a nonextensible lumbosacral orth...

متن کاملPhysical therapy for low back pain.
Physical therapy consists of fixation, thermotherapy, traction, and physical training. The symptomatic therapy is effective for some low back pain, including pain due to metastasis by malignant tumors. Fixation with a corset or wide canvas band reduces muscle pain in the low back region as curative therapy, but reduces the pain caused by tumors or inflammation as symptomatic therapy. Thermother...
